Whisper Jet is a total electric custom-built boat patterned after the Budsin Electric boat classic “Lightening Bug” model. Powered by two batteries, top speed is 6 MPH with 4 people. Totally quiet, cruising is a breeze. “Whisper Jet” won best custom boat at the 2009 Georgetown Boat Show.

A retired engineer custom built the boat from the keel up. Made out of mahogany and teak, the boat has to be seen to believe. Similar “Lightning Bug” models are back-ordered for over a year and cost $25,000-$35,000, depending on options. This is a fantastic boat, quiet and classy. One cruise and you’ll be the talk of your lake.
